This document provides detailed instructions on generating a remote support session using two different methods. This session allows for SSH access to troubleshoot and manage the server remotely.

    Navigate to the dashboard.

    Proceed to the "Settings" tab.

  2. Server Section:

Scroll down to locate the "Server" section.

  3. Remote Support Session:

Look for the "Remote Support Session" option.

    Click on "Generate."

  4. View Session Info:

After generating, the "Generate" button will change to "View.

Click "View" to access session information.

  5. Session Information:

Ensure to keep this information confidential. The information provided will look similar to this:

    6. Sharing this information:

This information should be shared with the Proxidize team when asked for.

Method 2: Linux Terminal

  1. Linux Terminal:

Access the Linux terminal on the server.

  2. Remote-Support Command:

    Type the command: remote-support

  3. Session Information:

If Proxidize is installed correctly, you will receive:IP: [Server IP Address]

And it should look like this:

    Sharing this information:

This information should be shared with the Proxidize team when asked for.

    Session Expiration and Renewal

    Session Expiration:

Each remote support session comes with an expiration date. The session information includes the expiry date, ensuring security and limiting access beyond a specified timeframe.

    Expired Sessions:

If a session has expired, the session information will still be visible, but attempts to access it will be unsuccessful. Ensure to check the expiration date before attempting to use the provided information.

    Renewing a Session:

To renew a session and generate new access credentials:

Click on "View" for the current session.

    Delete the current session.

Return to the "Remote Support" option.

Click on "Generate" to obtain new session information.

Note: Always exercise caution and ensure the confidentiality of session information. Regularly updating sessions enhances security and control over remote access.

These methods empower users to initiate remote sessions efficiently, enabling seamless server management and troubleshooting. Ensure the confidentiality of session information for security purposes.
