Setting Up Your Proxidize Proxies
Configure and launch your proxies directly from the Proxidize dashboard with step-by-step setup for both Per-Proxy and Per-GB plans.
Introduction
This guide walks you through setting up your Proxidize Proxies. Whether you’re using a Per-Proxy plan (dedicated SIM-based mobile proxies with full customization) or a Per-GB plan (flexible, usage-based pool access), you can configure everything from the Proxidize dashboard without external tools.
Steps
-
Log in to the Dashboard
- Go to your Proxidize account and select either Per Proxy or Per GB from the Proxies menu.
-
Choose Your Plan
- Per-Proxy Plans: Start with one or more dedicated proxies. Each proxy includes full control over carrier, location, rotation interval, and format.
- Per-GB Plans: Pay by data usage and access the full proxy pool. Ideal for flexible workloads and short-term campaigns.
-
Generate Proxy Credentials
- Both plan types provide real-time credentials:
- Host: IP or DNS hostname
- Port: Unique per proxy
- Username & Password: System-generated, customizable
- Example formats (selectable from the dashboard):
- username:password@hostname:port
- hostname:port:username:password
- Both plan types provide real-time credentials:
-
Customize Settings (Per Proxy)
- Location: Pick specific U.S. cities (e.g., Miami, Omaha, Los Angeles) or use "Fastest".
- Carrier: Choose from Fastest, Purple, Blue, or Red networks.
- Rotation Interval: Set from 1 minute up to days, or trigger manual rotation.
- Protocol: HTTP or SOCKS5 supported.
-
Customize Settings (Per GB)
- Access Points: Create sub-users to share the same data pool.
- Targeting: Select country (currently U.S.) and specific cities.
- Carrier: Same options as Per Proxy.
- IP Behavior Modes: Sticky IP for stable sessions or Random IP for frequent changes.
- Export Options: Generate formatted lists in your preferred style.
Verification
- Use the auto-generated cURL test in the dashboard to confirm connectivity. Or, run a manual test:
curl -x http://username:password@hostname:port https://whatismyipaddress.com
- The result should display the proxy’s IP and location.
Troubleshooting
- Proxy not connecting? Confirm credentials, port number, and chosen protocol.
- Location or carrier issues? If your selected city/carrier is offline, switch to Fastest.
- Session instability? Use Sticky IP for long-term connections, or shorten rotation intervals for automation.
- Authentication errors? Reset your password in the dashboard (letters and numbers only).
