# Proxy Builder Platform Deprecation Notice

## Effective June 3, 2026, Proxidize Proxy Builder is now considered a legacy platform.

The Proxy Builder platform has been deprecated and will no longer be maintained. This includes the Proxy Builder Cloud Dashboard, Linux Agent, Proxidize Android Agent, USB modem-based proxy creation, and related Proxy Builder workflows.

Proxy Builder is no longer offered to new customers.

***

### What This Means

Existing Proxy Builder customers can continue using the platform.

Customers with existing access can still:

* Access the Proxy Builder dashboard.
* Use their existing Proxy Builder setup.
* Renew their subscription.
* Upgrade or downgrade their subscription.
* Add or manage hosts and modems.
* Contact Proxidize Support if they run into any issues.

Nothing has changed for existing customers beyond the platform moving into legacy status.

***

### Updates and Maintenance

Proxy Builder is deprecated and will no longer be maintained.

No new feature updates, product improvements, platform updates, Linux Agent updates, Android Agent updates, or new USB modem-based proxy creation updates are planned for the Proxy Builder platform.

### Recommended Alternative

For new proxy needs, we recommend using Proxidize hosted proxy services instead of starting a new Proxy Builder setup.

Proxidize hosted proxy services are actively maintained and are the recommended option for customers who want a managed proxy experience without operating their own Linux server, USB modem setup, or local Proxy Builder infrastructure.

***

### Support Commitment

Proxidize remains committed to supporting its customers across all services.

If you are an existing Proxy Builder customer and run into an issue, our Support team will be happy to help.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.proxidize.com/legacy-products/proxy-builder-platform-deprecation-notice.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
