# What are Proxidize Proxies? Learn what proxies are and how Proxidize mobile and residential proxies work, including CGNAT, IP authenticity, and common use cases. A proxy routes your internet traffic through another device, so the website you visit sees that device's IP address instead of your own. Proxidize provides proxies built on real mobile and residential networks, which makes your traffic look like an ordinary user rather than automated or datacenter traffic. ### Mobile Proxies *** Mobile proxies route traffic through real SIM-Based devices on U.S. mobile ISP networks (4G/5G), so your traffic appears to come from a genuine upstream device running one of the Major US-ISPs. Mobile ISPs use **CGNAT**, meaning many real users share the same public IP. This is a strength: because a mobile IP is shared across many genuine subscribers, platforms can't easily block it without affecting real users. That's what makes mobile proxies the most authentic, hardest-to-block option. Mobile proxies are currently available in the **United States only**. Because the traffic comes from ordinary ISP connections, it's trusted by most websites. Residential proxies cover **190+ countries** with city-level and ISP-level targeting, which makes them ideal for large-scale, geo-targeted work anywhere in the world. Datacenter IPs, by contrast, come from hosting providers and are easy for websites to identify and block. There is no build step. Configure your client to run `npx -y @proxidize/mcp`. Node.js 18 or later downloads and runs it when needed.Why do I only see `get_subscription` and `get_outbound_ip`?
Those tools always load. The server registers other tools from your active subscriptions. Check your token and subscription if expected tools are missing.Does it send my data anywhere?
The server collects anonymous tool, latency, and error data through PostHog. It never sends tool responses. Sensitive parameters are redacted automatically. Set `PROXIDIZE_DISABLE_ANALYTICS=1` or `DO_NOT_TRACK=1` to opt out.Can I run it from source instead of npm?
