# Mobile - Per Proxy

The **Per Proxy** plan gives you SIM-based mobile proxies that are individually assigned to your account, each on its own upstream device and IP. You control location, carrier, rotation, and format per proxy. Ideal for long-running campaigns, social media, and multi-account management.

> **Are my proxies dedicated only to me?**
>
> Our mobile proxies are pooled, because our infrastructure is designed around on-demand location switching. In practice they're dedicated to you the vast majority of the time, with a small chance of becoming shared temporarily on congested locations. Either way your credentials never change. See [How Proxy Assignment Works](/proxidize-proxies/mobile-proxies/mobile-per-proxy/how-proxy-assignment-works-on-per-proxy-plans.md).

***

### How assignment works

Each proxy runs on its own upstream device, and no two of your proxies share an upstream at the same time. Upstreams are pooled across locations (which is what lets you switch location and carrier on demand) rather than permanently assigned, so on congested locations there's a small chance of brief sharing between accounts. For the full explanation, see How Proxy Assignment Works on Per Proxy Plans.

### Data

Per Proxy includes **unlimited bandwidth with a 50 GB fair-use threshold per proxy per month**. Past 50 GB a proxy may be deprioritized (more affected by network conditions), but it's never cut off. For consistent heavy usage, add more proxies. Typical speeds are 5–25 Mbps (and can exceed 100 Mbps); a Speeds column updates every 6 hours.

### Getting your proxies

Next to each proxy you'll see a copy button for each protocol **HTTP** and **SOCKS5**. Press the one you want and the full proxy is copied to your clipboard in your chosen format:

* `IP:Port:Username:Password`
* `Username:Password@IP:Port`

Full setup help is in [Setting Up Your Proxidize Proxies](/getting-started/setting-up-your-proxidize-proxies.md).

### Rotation

You can rotate a proxy three ways. The IP changes while your credentials, location, and carrier preferences stay the same:

<table data-view="cards"><thead><tr><th></th><th></th><th data-hidden data-card-cover data-type="image">Cover image</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Rotate Button</strong></td><td>rotate a single proxy, or select several and bulk-rotate.</td><td><a href="/files/s1REqgn6wz1AvhkSq5O4">/files/s1REqgn6wz1AvhkSq5O4</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rotation interval</strong></td><td>automatic schedule: 5 minutes, 1 hour, 8 hours, or Custom (minimum 1 minute). Set to "No interval" to disable.</td><td data-object-fit="cover"><a href="/files/eq3f630c0PxRJAyLY5iG">/files/eq3f630c0PxRJAyLY5iG</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rotation URL</strong></td><td>a unique, API-callable URL per proxy you can trigger from any script.</td><td><a href="/files/MGUi5ETHO677NrUlnDqG">/files/MGUi5ETHO677NrUlnDqG</a></td></tr></tbody></table>

If you don't rotate, the carrier may still reassign the IP periodically (typically every 1–4 hours). This is normal as your credentials stay valid and nothing needs updating.

### Authentication

* **User / Pass** (default): Each proxy has credentials; resetting the password updates all proxies at once (letters and numbers only).
* **IP Whitelist:** Authenticate by approved public IP instead of credentials, managed via the IP Allowlist. Note: with IP Whitelist, only Dynamic port mapping is available.

You can switch between both modes directly from the toolbar.

#### Setting Up IP Whitelisting

When IP Whitelist is selected, click the **IP Allowlist** button in the toolbar to open the management modal. From there you can:

* Add a single IP address manually
* Add multiple IP addresses at once
* Use the **Add My IP** helper to automatically detect and add your current public IP
* Remove or manage existing IP entries
* Track the total number of IPs currently allowed

![IP Whitelist window](/files/d721b765a72612c156ce47217da5a3a480607145)

Once your IPs are added, any request originating from a whitelisted address will be authenticated automatically, no username or password required.

{% hint style="warning" %}
IP Whitelisting authenticates by source IP only. If your public IP changes (e.g. due to a network switch or ISP reassignment), access will stop working until the new IP is added to the allowlist.

**Port Mapping restriction:** When using IP Whitelist authentication, only Dynamic port assignment is supported. Static port mapping is not available in this mode. See [Port Mapping](#port-mapping) for details.
{% endhint %}

All existing proxy settings, including location, carrier, rotation interval, and hostname type, continue to work as normal regardless of which authentication mode is active.

### Port Mapping

Control how ports are assigned to your proxies using the **Port Mapping** dropdown in the dashboard toolbar.

![Port Mapping Dropdown Menu](/files/82383bc13bc4158b0b80309ccac5188012751319)

#### Two modes are available:

* **Static:** Ports are fixed and do not change between sessions. 20000 for HTTP and 20002 for SOCKS
* **Dynamic:** Each proxy is assigned a dedicated HTTP and SOCKS port automatically. Ports follow a standardized order, making them easier to scan and validate across your proxy list.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Static port assignment is not available when using IP Whitelist authentication. If your proxies are configured with IP Whitelist, Dynamic is the only supported port mapping mode.
{% endhint %}

| Protocol | Range         | Order      |
| -------- | ------------- | ---------- |
| HTTP     | 18000 → 20000 | Descending |
| SOCKS    | 20002 → 22002 | Ascending  |

With Dynamic mode, every proxy gets its own unique port for both HTTP and SOCKS, no overlap, no ambiguity.

{% hint style="info" %}
Dynamic is recommended for most setups. The predictable port ordering makes it straightforward to cross-reference proxies in bulk exports or scripts.
{% endhint %}

### Other controls

* **Hostname type:** IP (direct) or DNS (dynamic domain).
* **Proxy tags:** up to 20 tags per proxy for organizing and filtering. Especially useful for grouping proxies by purpose, location, or any custom category that fits your workflow.
* **Proxy format:** choose either output format above.
* **Create User:** add sub-users (see [Adding Sub-Accounts](/account-and-billing/account-management/adding-sub-accounts-in-the-proxidize-dashboard.md)).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.proxidize.com/proxidize-proxies/mobile-proxies/mobile-per-proxy.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
